Oh this is the night, what a beautiful night.

Bella Notte fits in directly at the Italian area of Fantasyland, directly opposite It's A Small World. It is the counter service restaurant with a difference, the whole place is just filled with Italian, Lady and the Tramp references.

The Restaurant is dedicated to that faithful scene in Lady and the Tramp, when Lady and Tramp enjoy a plateful of spaghetti. Enjoy a meal in a scene with all the characters from the scene included. Stone pillars, marble, everything Itlian styled is in this restaurant. Scenes from the movie can also be found painted onto the walls. There is inside and outside seating available, it is a place to relax away from the major amount of people. Due to its rather hidden area, the outdoor seating area, can ssometimes also be a great place to watch the daytime parade from.

The food selection available is typical fast food. Though not burgers and chips, instead pizza around €7.95 and Pasta at around €7.00 available. Salads are also available, along with the addition of garlic bread. For dessert the usual, Donut, Ice Cream and Fresh Pinapple sold in the region of €3.00 each. However if you are looking on a cost effective meal, it is usually best to buy food in the set menu's. These range from a main meal and a drink for around €9.95, up to the family menu, including 2 large pizza's and a large bottle of mineral water, or soft drink for €29.95. Children's menu is also available for €6.00, which is pasta, or pizza, a Disney Ice Cream and a drink.

It is also occasional times, when Bella Notte is used as a Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast location. This usually only occurs if there is a higher number of people taking advantage of this offer than can fit in Au chalet de la Marionette.

Pizzeria Bella Notte has not changed or altered much since it's opening. However there are some stories behind the ideas that simply do make it one of the most interesting counter service restaurants there are. The Imagineers had areas in Fantasyland for most major European countries, though there was still one mission. Italy, it seemed there was no attraction they could just place in an area for Italy. So it was decided to create a restaurant. This was not the first time they had created a restaurant with a resemblance to Lady and the Tramp. In Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom's, Main Street there is a counter service restaurant called, Tony's Town Square Restaurant. However for Disneyland Paris they needed something completely different.

Bella Notte was created at a time when the Imagineers were sick of the very realistic themeing and simply wanted to have a bit of fun. So they created a restaurant that simply would not be realistic with characters from the famous scene built into the pillars, and even made the building lean a bit. This idea was taken from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. On the patio outside it was decided that a mosaic would be put into the ground. The walls around the patio are interesting. Simply because the pieces of mosaic in them have mostly been salvaged from what was left of the Mary Blair Tomorrowland mosaics that once resided in Disneyland California. Mary Blair afterall had influenced many of the early Walt Disney movies in the 1940's - mid 1960's. She also had the idea for how It's A Small World would look, this making the mosaic as a complete tribute to the woman who made Alice travel through wonderland and also tell the world that it really is a small world after all.

Across on the hill that sits opposite was originally planned the Little Mermaid dark ride, this was to resemble Bella Notte in the same style of pastel colours. However as time went on there was simply no money for the attraction, so the hill that sat opposite Bella Notte on opening day still sits empty.
